In our quest for continual improvement in products and manuals we're soliciting your help. To the best of our knowledge our manuals are complete and error free in every detail. But still, occasionally, we'll get a report of an error in a manual used by hundreds of builders over a period of years without being noticed. Or, more likely, many builders noticed the error, figured out from other information what the error was and went on - assuming that we knew or someone else would report it. Well, they didn't and probably we don't.
It's a hassle to report an error and since you've already been a little hassled by the error in the first place it's easier to mutter an invective at PAiA's stupidity and go on. Since builder feedback is such an important thing to us we'll make it worth your while by crediting your account us$10.00 for the first error you report and us$5.00 for each additional error up to a total of us$25.00.
Yeah, there's fine print- here it is:
Errors must be submitted by email to sales@paia.com with the subject line "Bounty". Errors must be in the current version of manuals for kits in production and for sale at the time we receive the submission. We will only credit an account that shows a purchase of the kit or manual in which the error is being reported but there is no time limit between purchase and report submission. Misspellings count. Punctuation errors don't. Confusing or incomprehensible instructions won't count ordinarily, but if we agree that ours is obscure and you propose an alternative that we use, it counts double. A wrong color code for a resistor counts. Disagreement between an assembly step and illustration and/or parts lists count as one error. Decision of the Judge is final.
This bounty doesn't include website errors (we pay for those only by the pound-weight) but we really appreciate any corrections you find anywhere and report to us.
